Support

Something not working?

If a puzzle, page, app, or book from Hamilton Digital Media Limited is not behaving the way it should, this page explains how to tell us and what to include so we can fix it quickly.

Support email

One address for everything.

We are a two-person company, so support is handled by email rather than a helpdesk. That means a real person reads your message — but it also means the more detail you give us, the faster it gets fixed.

How to report it

Four things that make a report fixable.

01

Find the product

Note which website, app, or book the problem is on. The address of the page, or the app name on Google Play, is usually enough.

02

Note what happened

What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. A puzzle that will not accept a correct answer is a different problem to a page that will not load.

03

Add your setup

Your device, browser or app version, and a screenshot if you can. Puzzle bugs are very often specific to one browser or one screen size.

04

Email it to us

Send it all to our support address. There is no ticket system to sign up for and no account to create.

Common problems

Things people write to us about.

Some of these have a quick explanation, and some are genuinely our bug to fix. Either way we would rather hear about it.

A puzzle will not accept a correct solution

Tell us the puzzle, the difficulty, and the solution you entered. If the page shows a puzzle number, seed, or date, include it — that lets us load the exact same puzzle you were solving rather than a similar one.

My progress or streak disappeared

Most of our puzzle sites keep progress in your browser's local storage on that device. Clearing browsing data, using private windows, switching browsers, or switching devices will usually reset it, because nothing is tied to an account.

A printable puzzle prints badly

Let us know the puzzle type, your paper size, and your browser. Print problems are usually a margin, scaling, or background-graphics setting, and we would rather fix the page than ask you to change your printer settings.

An Android app crashes or will not install

Include your Android version, device model, and the app version from the Google Play listing. If the app crashes at a specific point, tell us what you were doing just before it happened.

An instruction or rule is unclear

This is genuinely useful to hear. If a rule made sense to us but not to you, that is our problem to fix, and it is one of the most common things we correct.

Something looks wrong on my screen

Overlapping text, a cut-off puzzle grid, or controls you cannot reach. Tell us your device and screen size, and send a screenshot if you can — this is almost always reproducible once we know the size.

What happens next

What you can reasonably expect.

  • We read every support message ourselves. There is no automated triage.
  • We prioritise anything that stops people playing or makes a puzzle unsolvable.
  • Puzzle and wording corrections are usually quick. Layout and app fixes can take longer.
  • We may write back asking for the puzzle number, a screenshot, or your device details.
  • We cannot always promise a fix, but we will tell you honestly if something is not going to change.

Where to go instead

Some things belong somewhere else.

For a problem with a purchase, a delivery, or a refund on a printed puzzle book, contact Amazon directly — they hold the order and we cannot see it. For billing or installation problems that are clearly on the store side, Google Play support will resolve it faster than we can.

For puzzle ideas, review requests, product testing, partnerships, or press enquiries, use the contact page instead. For accessibility problems, our accessibility statement explains what to include.
